Drinking Games
If you are into sports like football, basketball, or any other games, there are instances when the best part of the event is the pregame. The pregame is where guys horse around, be laid-back and sometimes have fun with things you’ve never done before.
Of course, parties can be a little wild, especially if you play games where liquor is involved. But if you are tired of playing the usual beer pong or chugging contests every pregame, you’re going to have to do some research and find more games to play that involves liquor.
But look no further! Here’s a list of some of the best drinking games you should play on your next pregame.
Civil War
This game is pretty straightforward. All you need for this game is a few cups of beer and ping pong balls. Just like beer pong, having a good aim is a must to win this game. Make two teams of three and have them face each other on opposite sides of the table.
Instead of taking turns on trying to shoot the ball on the other team’s cups, each member is allowed to fire ping pong balls in rapid succession. The first team to fill all of the opponent’s cups wins.
Most Likely
To play this game, the more players you have, the more drinks the “it” will chug down. You know what they say: the more, the merrier, right? This is a simple game that doesn’t require any other props to play. All you have to do is to sit around in a circle. The first player will ask a “most likely” question, like “Who will most likely be lost in a new town?”
On the count of three, everyone will point to the person who they think will likely do the action mentioned. The person/s will then have to take several shots based on how many people pointed at them.
Cheers to the Governor
The rules of this game are simple: you don’t need to remember the instructions, have no cards or dice involved, or have any other shenanigans. Having a lot of players involved will make it more fun, so make sure to gather the boys up.
First, sit around in a circle with each of the players clutching their drinks. Start counting aloud clockwise. The person who’ll get number 21 will be appointed the governor. The governor will then come up with a rule. For example, have number 16 drink three shots of the beverage he is holding. After that, you can continue the game by counting and having a new governor, who will make a new rule.
Don’t Drink and Drive
If you love Mario Kart, then you will love this game. To start, fire up Mario Kart in your console and grab a few of your friends, along with unopened cans of beer. Take note that you should never crack the cans open until the race begins. The goal is to finish your can of beer before the race ends and be higher in the rankings.
However, there is a catch. You are never allowed to touch your beer once you start driving. You can only drink the beer whenever your kart is in a full stop. Because hey, never drink and drive, right?
Attached at the Hip
This game will bring everyone together, literally. Before the start of the game, each of the players will write a specific body part in a piece of paper. After piling them up, the players will be divided into pairs. The moderator will then pick a piece of paper and announce the body part out loud.
Each of the pairs will then stick that particular body part together until the timer ends. Pairs who won’t last until the end of the timer will have to take a shot.
Flip Cup
The rules of the game are simple: divide your group into two teams and have them stand at opposite sides of the table. Each player on both teams should have a cup of drink in their hand. At the count of three, all of them will chug down their drinks and try to flip it on the table.
However, they are not allowed to touch the sides of the cup. The cup will be placed on the side of the table, and they will have to flip them using the rim. The team with the most cups flipped in the table wins.
Medusa
This game will bring a lot of fun once appropriately played and when a lot of people are involved. To play this game, you need to prepare a lot of shots on the table before the actual game begins. Have all the players bow down. After that, have each player look at another person at the count of three.
If you find yourself looking at someone who isn’t looking at you, you’re safe. However, if you find yourself looking at a player who is also looking at you, shout “Medusa.” The first person who yells “Medusa” first is safe while the other takes a shot.
Takeaway
Every pregame with the guys is never complete without a drink. What makes pregames better are creative drinking games that involve a lot of drinks. Next time you have your pregame party, make sure to bust out one of these games and make the party a lot more fun and interesting.
