9 Tips to Nail the Perfect Date With Your Dream Girl

You finally scored a date with the girl of your dreams, so now you need to make sure your first evening with her will not be the last. Here are some essential tips from the experts in California that will ensure that your first date goes off without a hitch.

1. Pick a familiar spot to meet up

Most women will be more impressed if you take the initiative to choose where the first date will take place rather than asking her where she wants to go. Choose a place that you have been to where you’ll feel comfortable and the atmosphere is fun.

2. Plan a full evening

A single meal at a restaurant is not enough to spark a romance. Plan to visit some other places to have fun and keep the night going with her. Your role as a potential mate for her is to try and escalate the acquaintance into an intimate relationship. For example, you could go for a walk after dinner and enjoy the moonlit night. Take her somewhere to dance, or attend a live music performance.

3. Grooming

It’s something that most people should have down as a given, but it pays to be thorough in this department. Nothing makes a worse impression than a sloppy appearance or body odor. People usually can’t smell their own odor, so it pays to take extra measures to be well groomed. Use some mouthwash and a body spray or cologne to make sure you smell great. Give your hair a comb or gel if needed, and make sure your clothes are not wrinkled or stained. Women put a lot of work into looking great, so don’t show up in sweatpants and a hoodie.

4. Turn your phone off

When you’re charming your date with fun conversation, you don’t want a phone ring to ruin the mood. Silent or vibrate mode might be your default setting to avoid rings, but it’s best to turn the phone completely off so that you aren’t distracted by it in any way. If your dream girl knows that your phone is off, she will be impressed that you were mindful and considerate.

5. Conversation

When you get right down to it, a date is a conversation. You need to make sure that you have enough fun and interesting things to talk about in order to keep your romantic interest engaged with you. Don’t approach the date like an interview where you keep asking her questions about herself. It’s usually easier for her if you have a lot to talk about, and it puts you in the driver’s seat in the conversation. You could, for example, to tell her some humorous stories about things that happened at work or when you went out with your friends. If you tend to be very verbal, try to restrain yourself so that she is able to completely finish the things she wants to say.

6. Avoid sensitive subjects

During your date, you might want to establish how compatible you are by learning if you share similar values and interests, but don’t get too personal or delve into uncomfortable topics. Politics and religion are dangerous territories because people often become offended by remarks that are not in line with their opinions and beliefs on these topics. When it comes to flirting and romance, talking about explicit things or being vulgar is one of the surest ways to cause her to get up and leave in a huff.

7. Do you compliment or not?

It can be confusing when it comes to complimenting women because you don’t want to give her the impression that she’s out of your league or show signs of being desperate. On the other hand, it’s important to notice the effort that women put in to choosing their outfit and getting ready for a date. They sometimes take up to two hours to look their best. Comment about how great their hair or dress looks, or just say that they look terrific so that they know their effort paid off.

8. Don’t go into it with expectations

If you’re feeling anxious to get her alone or to impress her, you need to put that aside. The best way to ensure success is to put her at ease emotionally so that she can feel safe with you and feel free to open up about herself, laugh and flirt. If you feel anxious or desperate, women have a keen sense of it, and they will find the first opportunity to cut the date short. When her mood is ready to escalate to more romance and intimacy, she will give you clear signals.

9. Make sure she gets home safely

Safety for women is a serious issue. When the date is over, make sure she gets a safe ride home in your car or via ride share or taxi service. Getting her home safely leaves her with a final impression that you care about her, and she will be more likely to say yes to a second date.
