People engage in lengthy discussions about which sport is genuinely the most popular among men worldwide. The moment has come to resolve this argument once and for all.

There is something inside each of us that makes us authentic. There is something primitive at our very core. We cannot describe or specify what it is, yet we are aware that it exists. Men like risk. Blame it on excess testosterone, an overabundance of competitive energy, or even our basic animal impulses. In all honesty, the rougher, the better. 1. Football

Football, often known as soccer, is played between two teams of eleven players using a spherical ball. A rectangular field with a goal at either end is used for the game. The purpose of the game is to score by shooting the football into the opposition’s goal using any part of the body other than the arms and hands.

Only goalkeepers can touch the ball with their hands or arms while it’s in play and only inside their penalty area.

Soccer in the U.S. and Canada has 4 billion admirers worldwide. Because so many people care about it and millions of fans bet on NFL odds, it’s popular amongst men and is followed globally.

2. Cricket

Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played by two teams of 11 on a 22-yard pitch. Both teams bat to score runs – one team fields while the other bats. Each turn is referred to as an inning.

Test, ODIs, and T20 are cricket forms. Since T20, cricket’s popularity has skyrocketed. India, Pakistan, Australia, England, South Africa, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, West Indies, Bangladesh, and Zimbabwe are some countries that love cricket.

3. Hockey 

One may play hockey in various forms, including bandy, field hockey, ice hockey, and rink hockey. It’s, despite what some may think, the third most popular sport among males worldwide.

Canada, the United States, Northern Europe, and Eastern Europe have large hockey fan bases.

4. Tennis

The worldwide interest in tennis shows no sign of slowing down. An estimated one billion people throughout the world follow their favorite teams. These followers may be found anywhere from America and Europe to Asia.

The sport’s doubles format is also very popular, helping it earn a spot in the top 10 most popular male sports.

5. Basketball

Two teams compete to earn points in basketball by dribbling the ball up the court and shooting it through a hoop-shaped net. Basketball is for anybody who likes running, leaping, and shooting.

6. Table Tennis

This sport developed in England around the beginning of the 20th century. Table tennis is particularly popular in Asia, Europe, America, and Africa.

The game is played on a hard table separated by a net. Except for the first serve, players are only permitted one bounce on their side of the table before returning the ball so that it bounces on the opposing side.

7. Baseball

A sport played by two teams of nine players on a diamond-shaped circuit with four bases. It’s mostly a warm-weather sport in the United States and Canada. However, the modern game of baseball originated in North America. Today, its popularity among males in the United States is undeniable.

8. Rugby

Rugby is a team sport in which two teams compete by kicking, carrying, or passing the ball past the goal line.

Although the sport does not have as many followers as the others listed, there is enough funding available.

9. Golf

Golf is a true man’s game since you can play with your mates, have a few beers while playing, discuss business, and pass the time.

The objective of the game is to get a small ball into a hole with as few strokes as possible. The finest golfers earn a substantial amount of money from tournaments and endorsements. It’s a sport comparable to tennis in that the best participants wear branded clothing from head to toe.

10. Badminton

It may come as a surprise to some that badminton is among the top 10 most popular sports for men worldwide. It’s a wildly popular indoor sport, with an estimated 220 million players worldwide. It’s especially popular in Asia, with many of the game’s greatest players originating from the region.
