You likely learnt in school about the courageous Tuskegee Airmen who played an important part in the history of the United States of America. It all goes back to the Army Air Corps during World War Two. The Tuskegee Airmen were primarily African American pilots and airmen. This group formed the 332d Fighter Group and the 477th Bombardment Group (Medium) of the United States Army Air Forces (USAAF) in World War Two.
This was a special group not only for their makeup of African Americans but also for their excellent combat record which earned them a total of three Distinguished Unit Citations. Now, Avi-8 has partnered with the Tuskegee Airmen Inc (TAI) to design & release a limited edition timepiece that honours and remembers these war heroes.
